By now, you have probably heard the term “superfood”.  It is used to describe foods that are nutrient-dense, meaning they provide a lot of nutrition per calorie.  Some of the top superfoods that have been getting a lot of attention lately include kale, blueberries, chia seeds, turmeric, and acai, and goji berries.  But even though these foods have been identified as being especially good for our health, that doesn’t mean they are the ONLY foods we should seek out for good health and nutrition.
