Apple Radish Chutney

about 2 cups


I bunch radishes, greens removed, roughly chopped

½ Granny Smith apple, roughly chopped

1 cup yellow onion, diced

½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar

6 dates, chopped

½ tsp cinnamon

½ tsp white pepper

½ tsp ground cardamom

¼ tsp ground nutmeg

¼ cup raisins


  1. Mix all ingredients in a medium size sauce pan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, cover, and reduce heat to simmer for 30 minutes, stirring frequently until radishes are tender.
  3. Add water if necessary to keep moist.
