Crock Pot Apple Butter

1.5-2 cups


6 apples, cored

1 t cinnamon

1/8 t allspice

1/8 t nutmeg


Cut apples into quarters and remove the cores. 

Place apples in a crock pot with the spices. Cook on high for 5 hours. 

Let the apples cool, then blend with an immersion blender, or in a high speed blender. 

Place apple butter in a jar in the refrigerator.


Use this no added sugar apple butter on toast with or without almond butter. Stir some apple butter into oatmeal, brown rice, or millet for breakfast.
