Looking for a unique holiday gift to give this year – maybe even for you too?  Give the gift of good health!

In this workshop, you will learn about the health benefits and methods of fermenting foods beyond sauerkraut.  Bring your own supplies and take home your own fermented vegetables, such as carrots, onions, green beans, parsnips, beets, cauliflower, or pickling (Kerby) cucumbers.  Supply list: pint or quart size jar with lid, peeler, sharp knife, cutting board and your fresh organic veggie of choice.  Questions, please contact Evey at

Event is free, but Registration is requested so I can bring enough supplies for everyone!

The Glencoe Community Garden is a community-wide service project for people of all ages and abilities. We even have accessible planting areas. But it is not just for Glencoe; that just happens to be where we are located. Volunteers from all communities are welcome. We are a sustainable, organic-practicing, food-producing mini-farm and garden. Our harvest is donated to local food kitchens, pantries and other charitable organizations. There are so many opportunities for service, for education
